This sankha is 10 inches long, 4 inches wide and 4 inches thick. The conch shell is one of the eight auspicious signs of Tibetan Buddhism. This symbolizes the spread of wisdom and knowledge in the fight against ignorance. This conch shell is made from a conch shell with sterling silver around the outside, there are coral and turquoise gemstones decorating the outside of the conch shell. There are dragons carved in the sterling silver on both sides of this conch shell.
