This singing bowl was handmade in Nepal. It is 5.5 Inches wide at the widest point, 5 inches wide at the rim, and 2.5 inches tall. This singing bowl is made from copper and other metals, and painted black. There is a design painted in gold on the outside and the inside of this singing bowl. The design may vary, but in general the om mani padme hum mantra is painted on each bowl. This mantra is translated to 'hail to the jewel in the lotus', also the eight auspicious signs are painted on many bowls, either all the signs or just one of the signs. The Buddha eyes design is a popular design. This singing bowl comes with a striker, but the stand shown in the photo is available in the singing bowl accessories section.
